As you can imagine with a quality program like The Current on CBC Radio One, the team that puts this show together is its strength. Everyone is extremely intelligent. It’s a dream to work there because there is no weak link in their chain – right from Anna Maria to every single producer working on that show. Chase producing is not only respected, it’s an art.

A lot of what makes it such a great place to work day in and day out is in its leadership. Nobody gets frazzled at The Current. There’s no need to when the entire team is that good at what they do.

It always astounded me at how little overlap there was in the daily pitches from all the producers. That’s also testament to the leadership that they bring on such diverse individuals.
